Meet "Knitting Nancy" Marthaler
"I've worked with yarn and other medias since I was a child.  Yarn was and is my favorite media to artistically use to design and create beautiful garments and tapestrys.  There is a pallete of unbelievable colors when working with yarn.  I use yarn like painters use paint.  I have  have created wool tapestrys that I call  "Painting With Wool".  Here is just one of the several wool pieces of art that I created.  It took me a year to finish.  I call it "The Fruits of the Spirit" it is 3' X 4" made on monks cloth and with hundreds of mixed yarn colors and shades.

I've always had an eye for color and working with yarn has been a marvelous way to experiment.  Each hand knitted item is a creation that wouldn't have existed hadn't I used yarn and the skills to create.  There is such a satisfied feeling after completing my projects and especially if I sell them to some appreciated customer or friend.  

I use and sell only high-end, quality, designer yarns and patterns.  It's hard now days to find unique yarn shops locally.  So I am excited to be able to sell to you lovely yarns and hand knitted items at Knitting Nancy.
